I visited the North Lincoln FD in Lincoln City / OR for a photo of their Bronto. Unfortunately there was no driver for the Bronto available. So I photographed only their Surf Rescue. It is a 2005 Ford F 350 4x4 with locally done bodywork.

Later in the morning the fog disappeared and so I decided to drive to the Pacific coast again. I contacted the Long Beach FD/WA in advance, as they are operating a very unusual truck.
Engine 11 is a 1995 AG-Truck/Challenger 4x4 articulated tractor, that was a farm-tractor before. It is equipped with a 500 gpm hydrostatic pump and a 1600 gallon-tank. This go-anywhere truck is mainly used for brush-fires.
