They look like the bullet tailights from a 1959 Cadillac, though that's highly unlikely. More realistically they look like the tunnel lights mounted on Superior ambulances in the late 1960's through the early 1970's.

I wonder what the flash pattern is...... <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Here's a classic 1933 Ward LaFrance pumper posing for the photographers in spite of the fact that it has contracted lime disease. What a horrible color for a classic rig. The notes on the slide mount indicate that this rig belonged to Factoryville, PA. I always thought Castle Shannon's wooden rub rails on the body were very unique & a nice touch for the green rigs.

This beauty had a 750 gpm pump and a 250 gallon water tank. Sadly, this rig was bastardized by the addition of an IH cab. Mattson Collection
Here is a picture of this truck in it's bastardized form, it is a real shame it was not kept as the Mack N.

In honor of Scott Mattson (I didn't realize that Tascman WAS Scott Mattson.... I feel like bowing or kissing his ring or something... the man is a legend), here is the rest of the home made tankers from Lick Hill Fire Department..... they don't have the little Chevy anymore... but they do have some very unique looking homebuilt tankers. Enjoy!
