Oh.......THAT Ladder 6! Ladder 6 ran the Pirsch TDA before they got Ladder 1's LTI tower. Let's see.....Ladder 1 closed in 1994. Their LTI Tower was a 1990 or 1991 model, just like 2's. So, that means that Ladder 6 ran the Pirsch 110' TDA from 1990/91 until 1994. Before they got it from L-2 in 1990/91, they were running an older (1983) Pirsch 100' TDA, the one that was wrecked in the MVA and later was sold to RDM and then to Ocean City, NJ. Also, that same Pirsch 110' TDA was never assigned to another company, just went to reserve after it left 6, although it was at L-12 for a while, before the quints showed up.........And I forgot to mention......The 1993 Duplex/LTI rearmount was posted as a 100', but it's only a 75'.........I'm sure it was just a typo. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

The second Ford C cab was a 1983 Ford C/E-One was was sent into reserve status in 1997. It was traded/ and resold in 2001. I drove that truck only a few times before it was traded. Unfortunately I have not photos of it, but the back of the cab was a bit shorter and there was barely a roof over the rearfacing jumpseat on the E\-One. Hope this helps

Thanks for the info, and the Excellent photo too. I think way back, early 80's both Ford C's were running out of that station by 128, the Continental as Engine 4 and the E\-One as Engine 3. I think this truck was reapinted solid red in the late 80's or so. I also think the E\-One was originally lime as and was repainted solid red as well.
I remember being at the station dedication in 1996? and at the time The Ford/E-One was solid red, assigned to engine 3. But as I recall the delivery of the 75 ft Quint put the E\-One into reserve as Engine 4, at which time former engine 4 (Continental) was disposed of. That was Ladder 15, a newer Pierce which isn't liked so much because the outriggers cannot be fully extended in some of the very narrow Boston side streets (so they do a partial extension and ascend carefully), the stick is shorter than its predecessor, and the sides on the ladder are lower than before.
Here's the decal from Eng 33 which has a rear-only suction. That requires driving ppast the hydrant and one of the FF getting off and performing "monback"

Here is a rig that I found sitting on the edge of the road in someone's yard today. Thanks to board member Mark Baker for letting me know where it was.
This is a unknown year GMC/Bruco that appeared to have served at least two different departments. The one thing that I COULD make out for sure was "West Berlin, NJ" on the driver's door. "Rescue 1839" was stenciled on the body, and it looks like at least two different things had been painted on the hood, including something that looked like "Pembleton Township".
I have several other views & pics of this rig if anyone wants to see them, including the fact that the top rear body slides into the front of the body to make a "semi-convertible" top.
Scott, you don't happen to have a pic while in service do you?

I found a similar rig on [url="http://www.firenews.org"]http://www.firenews.org[/url], in the Connecticut apparatus section. The rig in Revere is ex-Franklin, CT FD.
