Same great host here that was at the Wolcott Fire Dept. He was kind enough to move and pose every rig at both departments for us! My feeble old mind can't quite remember the guy's name but he fed us lunch both days! Notice the food sticks in my brain but his name doesn't. Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, first up in Wilton is this big ole honking rig of Engine 4, a 1994 E\-One Cyclone 1500/2500 Tanker, Job #13781. Meriden, home of the famous, or is it infamous, Mike Quinn was the home of the shindig. First up from Meriden is Reserve Engine 104. It's a beautiful 1981 Hahn 1250/500 Pumper. Carr - 10-12-2010 Well, it's been forever since the July "Quinn-a-Thon" trip and I still haven't finished all my photos. The day Mike Quinn, Jim Kus and I met up in New York City was a rainy day, terrible for fire apparatus photography. But, we did it anyway and got some halfway decent photos. We started out at The Rock, aka the training facility. Jack Learch gave us the grand tour. Keep in mind that the quality of the photos isn't my idea of good by any means. First up is Ladder 5, a 2002 Seagrave 100' Tractor-Drawn Aerial, FDNY# SL02001T. Mark Carr photo Mark Carr Photos - Mark V. Carr - 10-12-2010 2001 Seagrave 1000/500 Pumper Engine 15 SP01003.
