By the fall they should have at least 5 new Crimson pumpers. They are currently being built and still no word on the ladders yet.

To my knowledge there are 6 Spartan Crimson pumpers on order with the 6th one being a triple stage pumper which is designed for use during High Rise fires especially if the building's pumps should be knocked out. That will be our 3rd Triple Stage pumper as the other two are at Engines 42 and 98.

Don't expect to see new Aerial Ladder Trucks that quickly as the City Department of Fleet Management had to ask for new bids on the Trucks at least 3 times this past year as the submitted bids had been rejected at least three times by the Department of Fleet Management

Smoke eater as of now I don't know the specific reason for the bid rejections however I can only speculate as to why.I do know that Pierce and Crimson had bid on the first round but as I was saying that I would strickly be guessing as to why.
