Try comeing to minnesota in the winter time for a structure fire you will have your answer faster then you can say "im cold".

Josh is exactly right...they're top-mount enclosed pump panels in the riding area to keep the pump operator warm. I've always liked the design, it's a signature of the midwest.
Also, Josh, nice work on this last batch of photos. The Twin Cities area apparatus have been favorites of mine since I visited many of the stations with Paul Barrett about 6 years ago. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/3_12_21.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

WMFD is going to miss the reliability of the Ford LS (and, for crying out loud, they're not all that old!) when the bug-eyed monsters from Ocala start rolling to alarms. I can't believe the inroads E-0 is making here in MN...why doesn't Seagrave bid on anything here?

This rig sounded pretty rough when it came back from a Run, when it was ideling i believe it was it needed alot of attenion i think.
