[/quote] I remember reading somewhere that some of the special service apparatus of the 60s-70s sported the chrome yellow paint. The 1968 Crown Heavy Utility 6 was painted this color as well. Also note that 2 1962 Crowns,P80 and P81 were delivered in chrome yellow livery. The 1996 Seagrave's were the last to come in with manual transmissions. After that, the final 1996 Seagrave (shop # 60528) was one of the first to have an automatic transmission (and Detroit Diesel) Los Angeles Fire Dept - hp1530 - 04-25-2011 Engine 15 (with their brush fire/out of town box mounted on the hosebed) Los Angeles Fire Dept - hp1530 - 04-25-2011 Engine 9 Los Angeles Fire Dept - hp1530 - 04-25-2011 Dozer Transport 3 Los Angeles Fire Dept - hp1530 - 04-25-2011 Dozer Team 1 with a Cat D8 Dozer Los Angeles Fire Dept - Monrovia1 - 04-25-2011 Restored LAFD Chief'a sedan.
