Keystone State Relics - Frank B - 01-17-2007 Another truck from The Allegheny Ludlum, West Leachburg Plant. This is a Ford C Hahn. I have not been able to find the origional owner of this Hahn, or any information on it. Can anyone help? This is in West Moreland County, Does anyone have a Station-Department Phone number? Keystone State Relics - Guest - 01-17-2007 I think the plant is in armstrong county, should be the same as Ludlum "leechburg" From what i understand now, how they run plant protection is theres a guy on each gate, Vandergrift works, Leechburgh, and bagdad plant. One guy in mini pumper type unit Patrols each plant, if a fire breaks out that unit reponds to the fire as well as the local fire department for that plant. I could be wrong but im not sure if they have that Ford anymore. Keystone State Relics - BA000049 - 01-18-2007 Scott, More info: Lionville 1994 Pierce Lance, 4-door 10 man command cab, 1500/750/25, 6 KW pto generator. It cost $270,000, delivered 4/16/94. It did not go into service until 7/21/94. The front cab roof and upper portion of rear command cab painted white, tall rear cab doors, bus mirrors, hydraulic ladder rack, and plated wheels. Purchased from Domestic Fire Apparatus - Honey Brook. Housed 8/15/97. Aston-Beechwood 1967 International S-176/Hahn, full cab, 750/500, model HS-7, delivered 3/30/67, V-8 gas motor, chassis purchased from Scatolini Motors-Chester for $18,000, housed 9/16/67, in 1980 sold to fire company in AZ. Keystone State Relics - Guest - 01-18-2007 The West Leechburg Plant Ford C-Hahn is sadly sitting in a yard at a auto repair shop on a back road in Parks Twp. Armstrong county it is no longer used and hasn't been used for a few years. They recently downgraded operations at the West Leechburg works to hardly anything The guy who does own the Ford-Hahn owns a junkyard but didn't have room as of last spring in the yard for it. It also has a good bit of hose and scba still on it. Keystone State Relics - Guest - 01-18-2007 Keystone State Relics - Guest - 01-18-2007 Keystone State Relics - Guest - 01-18-2007 Keystone State Relics - e290l103 - 01-18-2007 Stroud Twp still has the 48 Reo. When we shot it last year they said it was still technically in service. The firehouse it was stored in only had that and a Salvation Army truck in it, the Quantum normally there was being repaired after a serious accident. One of your trucks, Do you have the infoermation on this rig? Newport Twp WLF[/quote] purchased in joint co operation with newport twp board of commissioners and the former glen alden coal co.they purchased twin 1949 engines, this being wanamie engine, the other being alden sheatown engine.at that time there was a fire co in each little village in newport twp,the other co's being glen lyon, sheatown, alden .it served as engine 1 until 1985 when ironically being replaced by another ward lafrance.its sister engine remains in service yet today.its sister was due to be replaced in 1992 with a fmc but during its construction the 1985 blew the motor ,which is why it remained in service until a few months ago, when nanticoke stickney hose co donated their american lafrance 900 to newport and newport purchased 2 macks from harleysville pa.
