Relics - e290l103 - 08-28-2007

Thanks to Bill F. sending me the Pirsch list today, I can tell you that the gray Pirsch pictured above came from Atlantic City, and is a 1960 with a 750GPM pump.

Mike - Can we say PERFECT timing - Would love to hear the fire stories from and the gambling debets that this engine owes.

Found this International/Maxim on Route 17 in Somerville, ME (or the area of). Thanks to Mack505 for the tip on this truck!!

The only markings on it besides “Ladder 1” were a Massachusetts Inspection Sticker.

After a little research I believe this truck is the former Barnstable, MA/Ashland, MA Ladder maybe Howie could confirm this?

Sure looks like it! Don't forget to add Medway to that list of departments...

Woodsboro,MD., Frederick County xE-161 1978 Chev C-60/Fire Master 750/500 Sold from there around 2001.

Fire Master rigs were few and far between in the Mid-Atlantic states.

Thanks for getting the builder's plate, Chris!

I believe that this old ALF tiller is a former Philly FD rig. It was on the back page of an issue of Fire Apparatus Journal Magazine a few years ago.

This is one of our parts trucks, but since it's bound to become an engine donor for someone else, it's almost a relic. We're putting as much of it to use as we can.

Found this yesterday riding around North Carolina. One appears to be a 41 Chevy with a Oren Hose Body . It is parked behind the fire house.
