This rig going to be remounted on a new chassis or is it just being upgraded at the dealer?

Johnny C,

From what I understand Interstate is going to do a full refurb on it, just as they would any other mack tower. It is going to be repainted in Church Hills yellow and white. Some examples of ITE refurbs would be Bowie, MD. Philipsburg, PA. and Oakmont, PA. I know that there are plenty of others. I can't wait to see it finished.

I'm looking for a nice home(one with a shed to keep me warm and dry) so that I can live another day. I'm a 1969 CF Mack(CF-685-10) and I had a body lift done by 4-Guys in 1988(F-988) and I have a 1000gpm pump.My former home was New Wilmington,Pa. and I've been used for a BBQ truck in the past.If you are interested in me please contact dawson_fire , he's a nice guy!!! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Icon_crazy' />

Terry,

Where did ya happen to find New Wilmington's engine at? My friend runs at that station. Also, it's nice to see the Lance lives on, as long as you get a glider kit done.

It is sitting on Pa.Rt. 997 about one mile east of I-81 near Chambersburg. I agree with you on the Lance and this certainly is a nice one considering you don't see many in the military!
