Ladder 67 had a 1970 WLF, 85 ft rig.

Station 69 was a dual WLF station when it first opened with a couple of hand-me-downs. First up was this 1971 WLF, 1000-500.

Ladder 69 was a 1969 WLF, 100 ft rig which had been Ladder 21.

Houston Reserve Engine 1 was photographed filling in at Station 16. It was a 1969 WLF, 1000-500.

Reserve Engine 6 definitely looks like she's been "rode hard and hung out wet to dry." This was a 1966 WLF, 1000-300 rig filling in a Station 51 when I photographed it.

Reserve Pumper 7 also looking worn was filling in at Station 30. It to was a 1966 WLF, 1000-300.

Engine 18 was an unusual WLF. It was one of a couple of 1972 WLF, 1000-500-22 ft elevating platform. I photographed it at Station 16. I believe its twin was stationed at Hobby Airport.

Irving, Texas- Home of Texas Stadium and bordering DFW Intern'l Airport had a couple of WLF rigs. First up was Eng. 2- a 1969 WLF, 1000-500.

North Montgomery County V.F.D. acquired this 1967 WLF, 1000-1000 from Washington Township, New Jersey. It ran as Eng. 92.

Bob- I don't know who the Ward LaFrance salesman was back in the 60s and 70s in Texas, but I can tell you that he must have been an awfully busy man!
