Scott - additional info on: Parkesburg: 1993 Emergency One Cyclone, 4-door command cab, 1500/750, rescue pumper. It has a 4-bottle 6000 PSI cascade, and a 10 Kw generator. First new piece purchased since the 1970 Mack CF. It was purchased through Glick Fire Equipment at a cost of $265,972 and delivered on 8/7/93. It was housed 6/11/94. Clifton Heights: 1994 Pierce Lance, 4-door cab, 1500/400, 75 ft steel rear-mount ladder. It was delivered on 1/29/94. Frank - additional info on: Atglen: 1950 Autocar/U.S. Fire Apparatus, semi-cab, 750/280, 3-stage pump. Purchased used from Millborne Fire Company (Delaware County) in 1971 who had purchased it used from the Gladwyne Fire Company (Montgomery County) in 1968. It was sold to the Albrightsville Fire Company (Carbon County) in 1979 who in turn sold it to Bob Linke-Quakertown who sold it to a group of fireman from Atglen who sold it back to Bob Linke by 1992, who resold to another collector in 1994. 1968 Mack C125, canopy cab, 1250/1000. This was purchased used in 1988 from Northeast Fire Apparatus for $9,000 who had purchased it from Malverne, Long Island New York who had purchased it used from Rockville Center, New York. It replaced the 1954 Autocar/Harwick. It was involved in a minor accident on 7/14/93 while responding to a barn fire in Lancaster County. It went off the road, down a bank and through a fence. Damage was only minor. It was sold to a dealer from Alabama in late 1993 who resold to Augusta (Richmond County), GA who sold it to a fire company in South Carolina. Berwyn: 1937 American LaFrance Quad, open cab, 500/200, Type 450 RDB, reg. no. L-870, shipped 5/19/37, sales order no. 1221, Lycoming 8 cylinder, 125HP, rotary gear pump, 250' of ground ladders. It was housed on 10/30/37, designated #3, bell mounted above bumper before radiator, single pane flat windshield, equipped with portable generator and floodlights carried on top of body. It was sold in 1955 to East Berwick (Luzerne County), who used it for about ten years then sold it to a private individual from Huntington Mills, PA. 1952 Autocar C-?/U.S Fire Apparatus, semi-cab, 1000/500, broad plated front bumper, massive front end-large hood-sat very high off of the ground, rounded rear fenders, no compartments,delivered 5/52 after being on order for a year, 245 HP motor, reels on top with hi-pressure fog nozzles, no compartments, designated #4, housed 6/28/52. In 1965, it was traded in to Hahn. 1958 Mack B-95F, full cab, 1000 GPM, 2 booster reels on top, serial no. 1127 broad chrome bumper, primative double door compartment before rear wheels, designated #2, replaced in 1969. 1977 GMC Sierra 5000/Emergency One, full cab, 4X4, rescue-pumper, 250/300, 8000 LB. electric winch in front, 5 Kw Onan generator, 427 ci, automatic, purchased through the Glen Culbert Company for 439,600. It was sold to a dealer in Texas in 1990. 1980 Chevrolet/Saulsbury, full cab, 4X4 field piece, 250/265, sweptside pick-up body with dual rear wheels, gas motor, 4-speed, no taiLYate-dd rearstep, recessed low bodyside pump control panel drivers side. It was housed on 7/23/94. In the fall of 2000, it got a minor rehab with some minor body work and a total repaint job done by a local bodyshop at cost. The emergency lighting was also upgraded at this time, as well as a 4 KW Onan gas generator and two 500 watt quartz lights were added by D.G. March & Associates of Pottstown. Put up for sale in late 2005, placed out of service on 12/20/05. It was sold 2/06 to the BFC Services which is a for profit corporation that provides fire protection to the Devon Horseshow Grounds during events for $3,000. 1983 Ford C8000/Emergency One, canopy tilt-COE, 1250/750, first top mount in company, high side compartments, two booster reels on top. Used as a supply pumper. It was housed on 7/23/94. Though not well liked by the company, the 1984 & 1987 models were sold ahead of this. Sent out in early 2001 to D.G. March & Associates of Pottstown, PA for a minor body refurb for rust and repaint. 1984 Ford C8000/Emergency One Sentry III, canopy tilt-COE, 1250/750/40, Cat Diesel 3208T, 235 HP, Allison Automatic, high side compartments, 6.5 Kw Onan generator, 4-1000 watt premounted lights, two booster reels on top. Used as a attack pumper. It was housed on 7/23/94 at a cost of $113,807. It was sold to a dealer in AK in 3/97 who sold it to a fire company in VA. 1987 Ford C8000/Emergency One, canopy tilt-COE, 1250/750, standard body, single booster reel on top, used as a rescue- pumper, Cat 3208, 210Hp, automatic. It was housed on 7/23/94. It was sold to Atglen (Chester County) in 10/98 for a reduced price of $20,000 over 5 years because Atglen had lost a 1971 Mack CF to engine failure and they could not afford much. It was repainted RW by Jim Rice of Westwood. Placed into service on 11/7/98. Sold by Atglen in 08/02 through FireTrucksPlus of CA (a dealer) to Jackson, SC.
