Must have been a parade in Lebanon as it appears to be sitting in front of Henry Houck Elementry School just down from the "Batcave" that was Engine 23's quarters.

I still had quite a few PA shots to post when the old board succumbed to outside vandalism. I guess I'll start again with this new thread. Hopefully, this will still be an interesting topic for some. [Image: laugh.gif]

Freeport, PA ran this 1956 American LaFrance 800 Series pumper. It had a 750 gpm pump. Mattson Collection

When Armold sold it to Sarver, they took the generator off of it and it went on to the 58 B that they built using #2's old B model body. Someone changed the grill out on it to an 81 grill cause I remember that grill in it when Hilltop had it.

Yes we put a 10KW gen on it redid the body and cascade on it. I remember I removed the body with my backhoe. we cut all the steel diamond plate

off and replaced with aluminum to reduce weight , and repainted it. all work did in station by members. I dont know about the grill Hill Top must have changed it. I was Asst Chief at Sarver then.
