Another Hahn oldie.
Late teen's chemical and hose for the Empire Hook and Ladder Company Number 1 of Pottstown PA.
While this is similar to the previous post, the chemical tanks are not hidden behind the body, showing off all that shiney nickel plate.

The flag on the driver side is from the NJ State Exempt Firemen's Assocation, an organization that one of Norwood's members was president of in 1986 and 1987 then became president of the much larger NJ State Firemen's Association for a number of years.

Great thread on Hahn's! It was great paging through this thread and seeing the Clarks Summit, PA rescue-pumper! I was born in Sayre, PA but grew up in Clarks Summit. Of course they got that Hahn after I moved away. When I lived there they had a Ford C/?? pumper, a classic WLF pumper from the 1950's, and a Young/Dodge rescue from the 1950's (that is pictured in the Iconografix Young book)!
Two quick questions if I might......
1) Was Hahn's cab with the integrated sunvisor over the windshield a modification of the Cincinnati cab or was it their own design? The Hahn cab looks to be a bit wider than the Cincy cab so I'm thinking the Hahn cab was their own design. My apologies if this was already addressed on the thread...if it was I missed it.
2) Anyone have pictures of the 1982 Hahn 1500 GPM pumper that belonged to the Erskine Fire Company of Ringwood, NJ? I believe that engine is now privately owned by a member of the Stonetown Fire Company, also of Ringwood.

Here is another Hahn says Cupsaw Lake NJ there is no Cupsaw Lake Fire Co. however there is a section of Ringwood NJ called Cupsaw Lake so this is obviously privately owned. The number of the unit 701 leads me to believe that this once was owned by Prospect Park NJ Fire Co. 1 which operated a 1974 Hahn that was replaced by a Seagrave meanstick:

Here is a rig I've been waiting to shoot for a long time. My roommate in college, who is also a firefighter, told me about this Hahn his home VFD had. Last weekend I finally got a chance to shoot it. This rig originally had a 750-gallon tank, but was upfitted to a 1,000-gallon tank at some point before Northwoods got it. This rig also had a screaming 8V71 in it as well. I wish they had a 8V92 in it but it still sounds like a real fire tuck should.

Thanks for the photos of the Ringwood rigs. Actually there is a Cupsaw Lake and it is in Ringwood. Ringwood has 3 fire companies: Stonetown FC, Skyline Lake FC, and Erskine Lake FC. The Erskine Lake company is located between Erskine Lake and Cupsaw Lake. In the 20 years I was a firefighter in Wanaque (just south of Ringwood) their apparatus was always marked as Erskine Lake FC with radio numbers in the 240-series.
It could have been an ELFC rig though......

Over the years there was often a Visiting Fireman listing for an antique apparatus collector who lived in Ringwood? Could that be the case?

The Hahn Cab and chassis built in 1972 to 1983 was a copy of the previously used Cincinatti cab.
Because the cab was designed in 1970's, it had a wider cab then the older 1960's Cincinatti cabs. One outstanding feature was that Hahn added the eyebrow overhang above the windshield.
Also Hahn designed a new cab (84-92) in 1983 extending the jumpseat area see post #694 page 35 of this thread. There were only a few of these built. Soon after the 84-92 cab was for sale the Hahn 92 cab (92") was available. A few of the two older designed cabs, (84 and 84-92) were still sold after this time.

Thanks for the info Frank! I kind of figured that was the way things went with the cab design. Even though it's a cab you saw on everyone's custom chassis I always did like the Cincy Cab and Hahn's addition of the overhang only made it look even better.

There were more than 40 Hahn 84/92 chassis built.
