Thank you for posting this and all of the Butler Township rigs, but especially this one. This was refurbed at the American LaFrance service center on Neville Island in the late 80's. It received a new Century cab, Detroit engine and automatic tranny. Also, I believe the ladder was replaced on it.

This originally served in Homestead. It collapsed and American LaFrance installed a new ladder and then it was bought by Lyndora. It was replaced by a Smeal 105' rearmount. For a time, they had this and the Smeal both in service.

This department is located in upper Dauphin County, Pa about 30 miles north of Harrisburg. They got rid of this rescue truck a couple of years ago and replaced it with an HME rescue engine, they also have a really awesome HEMMIT tanker as seen below in my picture from 2006.
