1983 FORD F/1944 Seagrave Keystone State Relics - stokess - 02-02-2012 Thank you for posting this and all of the Butler Township rigs, but especially this one. My dad is a past chief of Mercer Road and part of the group that bought this and the 72 R Model they had, but I don't think he even has pictures of the CF...he was never into shooting apparatus so this is a treat to find a picture of E6-2. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/luxhello.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
MERCER ROAD F.D. It received a new Century cab, Detroit engine and automatic tranny. Also, I believe the ladder was replaced on it. Keystone State Relics - OPEN CAB MACK - 02-02-2012
LYNDORA F.D. BUTLER COUNTY
This originally served in Homestead. It collapsed and American LaFrance installed a new ladder and then it was bought by Lyndora. It was replaced by a Smeal 105' rearmount. For a time, they had this and the Smeal both in service. They got rid of this rescue truck a couple of years ago and replaced it with an HME rescue engine, they also have a really awesome HEMMIT tanker as seen below in my picture from 2006.
