More NC Rigs - BFD1151 - 10-18-2011
Last Saturday, board member Andrew2340 set out for a few shots in Surry and Yadkin Counties which is in the northwestern part of the state. I had information that a parade was going to be held in the Town of Elkin for fire prevention week with around 35 rigs attending last year. As with parades in general I've been to, the interest wasn't there this year with only 12 trucks in attendance. At any rate, there were a few interesting rigs that I'll post over the next few days.

Jonesville VFD has 2 really unusual rigs for this area, which unfortunately they did not bring to the parade. They have a cabover White or Autocar 4 door engine with a KME body and the other is a used Ford C/Hamerly engine.
