Correct me if I'm wrong Bruce A, but isnt this the truck that is sitting in a deslote corner of Cohen's Truck Parts Junk Yard in Thorndale, PA with a tree growing up thru the middle of it?

Nah, not any more then others have posted here on Firepics. My dad was not one to take pictures of rigs, even his own, so I don't even have any pictures of Mercer Road's Macks except one of the R Model that I've posted. When this shot was done I don't think they did each rig, it was a group shot only to be placed in the Township building which is was in the board room for some time.

I know they had a 1977 Ford C/Hamerly pumper back then in that paint scheme. Pretty sharp!

it was owned by the schuykill county historical fire society

they scrapped it last year it was completely beyond restoration.
