Los Angeles County Fire Dept - Guest - 03-17-2010 Are the 300 Engine's reserves? For example, Engine 317 or Engine 329? Los Angeles County Fire Dept - Guest - 03-17-2010
Are the 300 Engine's reserves? For example, Engine 317 or Engine 329?
No, the 300 series engine are the second engines in a station numbered above 100. For example: Engine 317 is the second engine out of FS 117 & Engine 329 is the second engine out of FS 129. Reserve apparatus starts with a "5". As in Engine 582 or Engine 5141. Those would be Reserve engines at 82s & 141s. BTW, Engine 317 is a Callman Engine. Hope that helps, Los Angeles County Fire Dept - Guest - 03-17-2010
No, the 300 series engine are the second engines in a station numbered above 100.
