I stumbled on this rig perfectly posed in Dahlonaga, GA last week. It's Lumpkin County, GA's 1971 Sutphen 250/250/85' platform as Ladder 1.

A couple of weeks ago, Clay County, NC (Hayesville) had their 50th Anniversary celebration. They brought out all of their rigs from Station 1 plus a couple of other bonuses. I got there early and they were very cooperative in posing every rig for me. First up is this 1958 Ford F600/American LaFrance 500/750 pumper. It's now owned by a local car dealer.

Tanker 1 is about to be replaced by a new Int'l/Southern Fire tanker. But, right now, Tanker 1 is a 2004 Ford F750/Local with a 18HP pump and 1500? gallon water tank.

This was the big bonus of my day. Although I'd shot it before, I didn't have a good shot of it. North Carolina operates several regional hazmat teams. This one is RRT-6 out of the Asheville, NC Fire Dept. The rig is a 2002 Freightliner FL112 built by Hackney.

And Clay County EMS was there too with two rigs. First up is a 2008 Ford F350/Wheeled Coach as Medic 1.

And Clay County EMS's newest rig is the only one I didn't bother to have posed. It's a 2011 Chevrolet built by Braun and is designated Medic 3.
