Milton, I shot one of these rigs down in PA at the '09 state parade - go to my website (www.unyquefiretrucks.com) & you will see it in the collage on the homepage. Click the pic & it will link you to the unit's page where I have some more detailed specs on this rig. Hope this helps. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fireman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Fireman' />

East Haven Engine 1 runs this 2005 HME/Marion/RK 1250/250/75' low-profile quint designed to fit into a 1938-era firehouse. Since the town's ladder truck was taken out of service several months ago due to mechanical issues, this truck is the primary aerial device for the community

North Haven West Ridge Company 3 is the original owner of this 1951 Mack LS85 pumper. Prior to its formation, the Town of North Haven paid the town of Hamden an annual fee of $1500.00 to provide fire protection to western North Haven. The North Haven Fire Department is a combination department with 1 career staffed station and 3 volunteer stations protecting 23,000 residents in a 21 square mile area.

Montowese Company 2 in North Haven owns this former New Haven 1963 Seagrave 70th anniversary rig. Most, if not all the equipment carried on this truck is typical of the technology of the day when this truck was delivered. Following World War 2, North Haven began purchasing white apparatus, switching over to lime-yellow/white combination in the mid 1980's, and is the only department in the Greater New Haven area to run this color-scheme.

Derby Truck 15 runs this 2003 Pierce 2000/300/95' mid-mount aerial. The City of Derby is recognized as the smallest city in Connecticut. The all-Volunteer Derby FD runs from 4 stations protecting 13,000 residents in a 5.5 square mile area.

Ansonia's newest rig is this 2009 Pierce 1250/500/30 foam of the Webster Hose, H&L Company 3. Like most towns in the Naugatuck River Valley, Ansonia is an all-volunteer department running out of 5 Fire and 1 Rescue station proudly protecting 18,500 residents in a 6 square mile area. There is talk about combining the Rescue service into the fire department.

Charter Hose Co. 4 in Ansonia runs this 2006 Spartan/Smeal 1500/500/20A/40B foam pumper. The lightbar is actually lower than the raised roof portion so it can fit into their firehouse. Hopefully Izzy can provide more details about this. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fireman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Fireman' />

Ansonia Rescue Medical Service runs this all-wheel drive GMC/Emergency-One as thier Rescue 2. ARMS provides ambulance and rescue services to Ansonia, and is one of the few remaining Rescue Services not affiliated with a fire department left in Connecticut

West Haven runs this 1984 Pierce Dash 1500/500 as Engine 23 in the First District. West Haven runs three independent fire districts, First District, West Shore, and Allingtown. In recent years there has been much talk about consolidation, but to date nothing has happened. West Haven is a combination department protecting 52,000 residents in an 11 square mile area from 8 stations. West Haven is home to the University of New Haven which offers an intensive Fire Science program
