This truck served as their rescue and was sold in 1996 to a fire company in North Carolina, they were going to rehab the truck and use it for mountain rescues. this truck was replaced in 1996 with a 1996 Simon Duplex Rescue Engine, my dad also traveled to Florida and a few other firefighters to do a final inspection, and to take delivery of it. here is a picture. I caught up to this rig in its last days at Confluence in the fall of 1996.I do not know where it went from there. I was privileged to be able to photo your entire fleet in the fall of 1993 and just missed the FordC/Bruco ladder! Do ya have any pics of that one? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/luxhello.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />I found it in Henry Clay township Fayette County wasting away |
