If you loom on the front right corner, just above or below the vehicle ID number is a code. ST=Spare Truck, SR=Spare Rescue & SP=Spare Pumper. I believe this piece has ST21 on the front corner.[/quote]

saw them yesterday, looked like Ladder 7"s old piece

That may be what they're using now, but Ladder 7's old piece was an enclosed cab. Ladder 15 & Ladder 26 have been using spares for a few months now.

Z1 covers any district where the chief is at training, he responds on ALL Mutual Aid outside the city and he is the 2nd Alarm chief citywide. Went to Engine 33. No front suction and short wheelbase make for a a very maneuverable piece.

Thanks for the information....I had no idea. Sure makes District 12 a little heavy from an administrative standpoint.

Take two companies away from District 12, E52/L29 are now in District 8.

That makes District 8 E16 E18 E20 E52 Fire Brigade and L06 L29

District 12 still picked up 2 more companies than it previously had and two more firehouses, and a lot more actual land area compared to what they gave up.
