The 1978 Ford F Hahn could possibly have been from the Penn Twp Fire Co in Cumberland County PA originally. Dave Bowen or Doc, could you verify?

That one was a 1970 Ford/Ward LaFrance. The Marion Heights rig was the closest match in my HAHN info, there were several others of that model built that year.

I'm not 100% positive but almost that the Crown is from Santa Monica, CA.

Quote:Next up was a 1940 Ford Bickle-Seagrave 500 gpm 200 gwt  Vintage FC  ex-Commerce Twp MI pumper. The owner swears is a 1939 Ford despite the 1940 Ford front end sheet metal.  While it may be registered for licensing as a 1939, it still think it is a 1940 and that the way I'm recording it, unless someone else has information to set me straight.  Maybe when it came across the border from Canada the model year was changed in error.  Unfortunately, there is no body build plate or Bickle-Seagrave number on this rig.
Originally from Point Edward, Ontario  near Sarnia

Quote:Next up was another of the Canadian rigs, a 1942 Ford American 500 gpm 300 gwt which has been very nicely restored.
Originally from St. Clair Shores, MI.

Quote:The '42 Mack was followed by this 1959 Ford F700 American Marsh #A940 500 gpm 500 gwt pumper.  Not sure where it served and the current owner is the fourth person to own this rig and didn't know its history.  Anyone else know?
Dutton, Ontario

Quote:Among all these rigs from the '20's was this 1985 Ford C8000 Pierce 1000 gpm 750 gwt  ex-Royal Oak Twp MI pumper.
Originally delivered to Chesterfield Township,, MI

Quote:Well here are a few more for today.

Next up were a couple of ambulances.  The one was a 1977 Cadillac Miller Meteor Ambulance that was impeccably restored.

Our squad had a number of Caddy Miller Meteor's in the 50's, 60's and 70's but the last was a 1975 with a problematic catalytic converter (first year for them being mandated) and it was the only with that dumb orange & white USDOT mandated paint scheme instead of our local traditional blue & white.  After that it's only been modulars on Ford econoline chassis.
