Casey,

Thanks for the Photos of 82's and 19's. I lived in La Canada as a kid prior to my family being relocated to NJ growing up. I remember the days when E82 was a Crown, 282 a Ward, and T82 was a mid-mount seagraves. Nice to see 19's get a new rig, they had that old KME for a long time.

JFong,

I had posted a while back when I had put up the shot of the new Engine 76 that the Captain I spoke to that day, said that the new HM was due into the shops late this month or in April and on the streets in June or July at the latest. It is a straight framed rig and not a Tractor Trailer unit. It is supposed to have a Freightliner cab on it.

HTH,

Has anyone seen the new air/light units? Heard they are being built by SVI on a Freightliner chassis

The reason the back of Squad 8 is diffirent from Squad 32, Squad 8 is designated as a "Heavy" Squad there's 1 in each Battalion. The "Heavy" Squads carry extra equipment for Mass Casulty Incidents

The new squads look like the old ones except the the striping and the Code360 lightbars. Do the simulators come with the rig or are they added by the FFs?
