Thanks for that reminder Dave. It slipped my mind actually but I do remember hereing that from one of the guys over at N. Charleston FD station 5. He actually started his FF career driving that truck for summerville.

Here is an interesting view from above......circa 1970....a few C's, B's and L's........note the bench seats and gear on rails....typical of an Engine on Long Island back in the day.
