MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 01-10-2010 Barnstead, NH Rescue 2. I'm not a big fan of green fire trucks, but the Barnstead fleet is a gorgeous MG Green! MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 01-10-2010 This goes along with a previous post of what a "more triditional" Pierce PUC might look like. I started by using a regular Arrow XT cab without the added length, utilized 1/2 high side compartments with the ladders on the other side, and finished off with a low rear hosebed. Probibly not something that you are going to see in the future, but a "what if". I used pieces and parts from many different drawings so I hope that I didn't leave anyone out of the credits. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 01-10-2010 Here is a look at the Pierce jut ordered by my company. Delivery is expected sometime during July. It will be on an Arrow XT chassis with a 1500 GPM, 2000 Gallon water tank, and a 35 Gallon Class A foam tank. Since it will have the ability to act as an engine or a tender it will carry a folding tank on the driver's side. The pump details are not accurate since we do not have the "official" drawings from Pierce yet. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - EMTChris67 - 01-10-2010 i got a little something here for our west coast fans, Squad 19 from LaCo FD MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 01-11-2010 Here is a rescue pumper from Waltham Mass. It's a 1978 ALF Century/1985 Emergency One body. 1000 gpm and 500 Gal. water. Credits go to Mayer22,Ladder13,KDWMAEMT,RIEMT, and myself. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 01-12-2010 Here is my representation of a real, fictional rig (yeah I know, confusing <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ) Based off of the generic Matchbox Real Working Rigs model, here is a Pierce Quantum Quint. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - EMTChris67 - 01-13-2010 more old school stuff, A Mack model R 4 door cab late 60's from the FDNY MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - EMTChris67 - 01-13-2010 another Mack R, i always loved this rig when i passed by its house when i was a kid, Salem Ma MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - EMTChris67 - 01-13-2010 back to the present, A KME Predator for Windham NH MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 01-14-2010 This is an odd one. It's a 1964 Mack B model heavy rescue from the Bethlehem Township VFD in Northampmton County PA. Creits to EMTChris67, Ladder13, and myself. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 01-14-2010 Ill add to some of the west coast stuff. Here is a LA Co. Simon-Duplex Ladder. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 01-14-2010 Another from the west coast, San Rafael Engine 55. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - KDWMAEMT - 01-14-2010 I was asked to draw up a version of my E\-One Tiller by another member of the board for the Quebec City Fire Department. It was pretty simple to change a few things around and add some graphics, so I did as I was asked. Heres a 2010 E\-One 100' Super Tiller lettered for an undesignated ladder company of the Quebec City or Ville De Quebec Fire Department. Credit to Fyreline, RIEMT and Myself MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 01-15-2010 Here is a 1973 Ward LaFrance Tele Squrt that began life in Syracuse NY. It then found it's way to Minoa NY, then on to Grafton VT. Credits to Ladder13, Engine5161, and myself. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - fyreline - 01-15-2010 Very nice. Here's what she looked like originally: MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - fyreline - 01-15-2010 Syracuse never ran any Midi-Pumpers . . . all of ours were Minis, with small 250gpm pumps and 300-gallon tanks. Here's one: MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - fyreline - 01-15-2010 ...and here's a rather poor scan of one of the Pierce/Hendrickson rigs. We had two generations of these, the second generation was visually quite similar but featured 2000gpm pumps and TeleSqurt booms. We had seven of the second type. Again, I apologize for the poor quality but many of these drawings were done nearly 20 years ago when the medium was in its infancy. Some day I'll go back and re-draw them all properly. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - fyreline - 01-15-2010 Just for fun, here's how it all started . . . this drawing was done in 1987 on a Zenith DataSystems 8086 computer, drawn in one of the first (if not THE first) versions of MS Paint, pixel-by-pixel using just the keyboard. No mouse, no color - didn't have 'em yet. I did a few of the 1950's SFD rigs this way. Pretty primitive stuff, eh? Glad I kept 'em, though. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - fyreline - 01-15-2010 ....and the same rig, done a little later: MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 01-17-2010 I took a shot at Boston's 1985 95 foot E\-One tower ladder. Credits to KDWMAEMT, Ladder13, Rescue29engine23, and myself. |
