Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-23-2009 Here is one of Bel Air,Md.'s 2007 Seagrave triplets with a 1500gpm 750gal 50foam job# 78D78. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-23-2009
Terry, Thanks for the posting the Stockton rig. I saw pix of this under construction, and was excited to see the "finished package." I'll be headed to the Eastern Shore to get this one for "shore". (pun intended...)
I seen the construction pictures as well and when I heard it was at Singers I decided to take the 2 hour trip to Delaware instead of the 4 hour trip to Stockton. I wish the sky would have been clear but they turned out well enough. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-23-2009 Darlington,Md. recently placed in service this 2009 Sutphen/SVI rescue with a pump.It has a 1000gpm and a 1000gal tank with 2 crosslays, a trash line, and a deck gun but no supply line. It carrries Sutphen job# HS 4518 and SVI job#669. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-23-2009 Here's a walk around the Darlington truck... Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - hp1530 - 05-24-2009 Wow the Stockton truck is a monster! Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-24-2009 Here's a walk around the Darlington truck... Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - Guest - 05-24-2009 Has SVI ever built an engine before? That Darlington rig is unique. I'm suprised they didn't put at least a few hundred feet of supply line somewhere. Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-24-2009 The gentleman at the station said that they had but I thought I had heard this was going to be the first. As for the hose there was certainly room for it but as he said it is a rescue with a pump, not a rescue engine. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - ShoreFire - 05-25-2009 The Stockton rig was delivered last Saturday and equipment is being added pretty much every day since, they hope to have it service before the end of the month. It has also been sighted south of the border a few times......... Terry's Tid Bits II - Ladder 68 - 05-25-2009 What county is Stockton in? I know its labeled "Rescue 2", but is there a county number it will use? Thanaks in advance. Terry's Tid Bits II - ShoreFire - 05-25-2009 Worcester co md, near the Ma/Va line east of Pocomoke City Md. I believe its Co station 2. Terry's Tid Bits II - Ladder 68 - 05-25-2009 Thanks........what is it going to be identified as on the radio? Thanks in advance. Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-25-2009 BIG THING to communications can I have the roads department to make the road bigger so we can continue? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-27-2009 Owings Mills,Md runs this Duplex/Saulsbury that formerly ran out of Branchville and later Beltsville before calling "The Mills" home. It will be replaced later this year. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-31-2009 Hyattsville,Md. recently took delivery of this 2009 Pierce Arrow XT rescue with job#21412. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - Guest - 05-31-2009
Owings Mills,Md runs this Duplex/Saulsbury that formerly ran out of Branchville and later Beltsville before calling "The Mills" home. Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 05-31-2009
Terry, any word yet on what kind new 312 will be?
I'll give you one guess and they already have 2 of them ! From the drawing it will be similar to the other engine, little different compartment layout and a 2250gpm pump and it is due in around the end of September along with Glyndon's around the beginning of October. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 06-01-2009 Here's my shots of Hazle Twp.'s new Seagrave Aerialscope. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 06-01-2009 I shot this 2009 Pierce Arrow XT 105' PUC quint today which is the first one that I have seen since they expanded the PUC line to all their aerials. I have to say that I was slightly disappointed that there didn't seem to any difference in the overall length of the truck though you do get one extra compartment on the officer side of the truck. Terry Terry's Tid Bits II - dawson_fire - 06-02-2009 Here's a close up of the pump area which is a 1500 gpm unit. The compartment opposite the the pump panel is roughly 24"wx24"dx60"h give or take a little.Job# 21598. Terry |
