I thought I heard somewhere that Ford was going to stop making the E Series cut off van style. anyone else heard this?

That is a protective piece of fabric on the hood I pulled it out of the prep bay to get a picture of it !! Here is one without it (inside shot though) I think they look "mean" too

Here is a 2008 F 450 just thought I would add it !!!

Nice looking F450 Ambo

I just don't know guy's, while the grille looks mean those headlight bezels need some work! Maybe a bit of chrome or body color trim would make it look better. It just kind of looks unfinished to me.

They both look ok. Lose the air horns on the E450 though, or at least get them off the roof.

And here I was going to put a B & M Super-Chief up there between them. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Lol' />

Wonder if they could not put the horns thru the bumper due to the radiator issue? Just wondering so please no slams. I have not seen one up close yet.

Neal,

I was told by our engineers that they think there is just barely enough room to squeeze them in there, but of course that was before they arrived at the plant, I should call them and find out if that is still true.

Thanks Kris. I will check with our guys. To be honest the last few I have sold have been another brand of chassis and last time I was at the plant I did not see an 2008 E series.

Neal,

No problem I know what you mean. All C-4500's this past year for me. Out of 6 possible untis in January only 2 are even considering Ford.

I was told the E can get the horns under the bumper. But the F is in a caution phase right now. They would go in where Ford puts the fog lights, and if you have a push bar, thats where the uprights for that have to go, so airhorns might have to go somewhere else.

I would have sent a private message to respond, but I think this info may help some other people who read these forums.
