Relics - Guest - 11-13-2007 the ex old forge ladder served canastota n.y until 1989 when they got their present century 2000 75' water chief the 1963 ford/alf then went to american la france in dunmore,pa as a trade in. Relics - mnsand - 11-14-2007 I appreciate the additional information regarding the Ford C ladder from Tazewell. Thanks everyone. Mike Sanders Ashburn, VA Relics - bige1998 - 11-14-2007 Found this I believe former Middlebury, VT Ladder 1 off of Route 89 outside of Lebanon, NH. Does anyone have any info on this truck? Thanks, Eric Relics - bige1998 - 11-14-2007 This one is also from Vermont where I found I couldn't tell you. It's from Broad Brook, VT and from what I can tell it's a International/Hahn. -Eric Relics - Guest - 11-14-2007 Hammonton,NJ Relics - Guest - 11-14-2007 Philadelphia PA Ladder 34 Relics - Guest - 11-14-2007 Joe - I can't believe that rig (Philly Ladder 34) could look so good after 57 years. Do you know if it had been restored after it was retired from Philadelphia? They just replaced this engine last year with a late 80's KME Custom Pumper from somewhere in NY. Last summer it was sitting along side their firehouse with a for sale sign in the window. They also run a chevy tanker (former milk tanker) and a chevy brush truck, from the early 70's at best. This is really one of those tiny, unkown fire depts where you have to be terribly lost in order to find it. Relics - Marc - 11-18-2007
Philadelphia PA Ladder 34
I believe that this is a 1950 American LaFrance 65' aerial. These rigs were referred to as the "Flying Wedges" since they were 8" wider at the rear of the truck than at the front. Amazing that the paint on this rig is in such good condition! Relics - yelrowekim - 11-19-2007 This early 80's Ford E one is behind Warwick E4's house... They put it out for bid.. I was told there were no takers....
