Is that light bar curved, or two smaller ones angled on the edges?

It appears it's two smaller light bars on the side.

I'm pretty sure it's a PSE Code 360 bar, LACoFD has been using it for the last couple of years on squads & buggies.

Does Quint 29 no longer exist or get a new rig? And what is the reasoning for replacing the '98 tillered quint at 153's with a '99 tillered quint of the same type? Is there a big call volume difference and corresponding condition of the rig? Would they think they would just save a step and give 29's old rig to 116's and avoid 153's as the "middle man".

Thanks in advance.

Station 116 is very crowded and either a straight tiller or tiller quint would not fit in Station 116, Station 116 houses Engine 116, Squad 116 and Truck 116, Engine 116 parks behind Squad 116 with the truck having it's own bay.

Quint 29 recieved a new 100FT tiller quint, Quint 153 was running a 75FT Rear Mount KME Quint,

Its not a code360. It may be a code3 2700 LED bar or federal signal argent

Pretty sure its a Code3 (actually 3 of them), and after looking at their website I would agree that they are the 2700 model. One of the give aways is the colored top panel on the bar, as far as I know Code3 is the only manufacturer to offer this.

Los Angeles County Fire Dept - Guest - 04-07-2011

FS argent has colored tops too. LAPD Has argents with red and blue tops.

But with an Arjent, it looks like a football cut in half, these appear to be straight across.

Trav!

Thanks Monrovia...that makes sense. What became of 116's old truck? Go to reserve?

Thanks in advance.

116s is still running in there old truck right now since the 75FT Rear mount quint won't fit into the station, Most likely Truck 116 will go into reserve, The LACO Brass missed some oppurtunity's to build new stations for houses like 114, 116 and 103.

My bad, friends. I was looking @ the Patrol & not the Engine. Assess the demerits against me, I'll humbly take them.

Truck 116 does have 153's old KME in service. Been parked in the station at 116's for about 2 weeks now.
