Are there any non tiller ladders around the inner harbor? if so where are they located?

Baltimore City Fire Department - Fire28 - 05-26-2012

Truck 1 1100 Hillen St is the closest.

Baltimore City Fire Department - Chasselber1 - 05-26-2012

I believe R-1 moved into Steadman before it was officially open due to receiving a new rig that would not fit in the old quarters.

Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 05-26-2012

That is correct. In 1973 when Rescue 1's new Mack MB/Swab rig was delivered, it would not fit into their Paca St. station and they were the first company to occupy the newly constructed Steadman Station.

Truck 3 is located in Fells Point at 2120 Eastern Avenue. All the others T 21, 25, 26, & 27 are located pretty far from Downtown.

What about the old town station? Snorkel only or do they still have a frontline truck?

Baltimore City Fire Department - Fire28 - 05-27-2012

That would be Truck 1 1100 Hillen St.

As Tim said, Truck 1 is at Oldtowne. The snorkel at Oldtowne is Truck 51, which is a "second line" or reserve rig.

quimbyt, here's BCFD T3

Baltimore City Fire Department - hungrybus - 06-07-2012

Here's a few other Rearmount Ladders near the Inner harbor, T1 located 1100 Hillen St.

Baltimore City Fire Department - hungrybus - 06-07-2012

Truck 51 also housed at 1100 Hillen St,

Baltimore City Fire Department - hungrybus - 06-07-2012

And the last rearmount ladder that could be in any house with a Trk, 1 of 2 Seagrave Rearmounts in Reserve Status.

T21 in Brooklyn has a RM Seagrave and T27 in NW Balto has a Pierce Dash RM

T25 & 26 have Rearmount Seagraves T25's is a low profile due to there old house.
