Hungrybus 2012 - hungrybus - 01-31-2014 Also at 8 I got a better photo of The Medic Unit than I aready had, Hungrybus 2012 - hungrybus - 01-31-2014 Special Unit 8 Used as a EMS Chase car and support Unit for Station 8 Hungrybus 2012 - hungrybus - 01-31-2014 Here's a shot of Dive Unit 8 hauling Boat 8 Hungrybus 2012 - hungrybus - 01-31-2014 And the last shot of that Day was The Dive Unit by itself. I hope & pray to God that this Pacemaker/defibrilator is the answer to my Heart Condition, cause i'm a bit tired of going to The ER every 3-4 Months. Hungrybus 2012 - fd1686 - 02-01-2014 Mr. Bus, Glad to hear all went well!! See ya soon... Pat L. Hungrybus 2012 - hungrybus - 02-03-2014 I Know this is a Apparatus site, but It took me 37 years, But I can finally say I root for a Champion. From The 12th Man in Md. All I can say is "Go Hawks" Hungrybus 2012 - Guest - 02-03-2014 Which player paid you to put that up? ![]() Hungrybus 2012 - Bryce - 02-03-2014 YES! Hungrybus 2012 - Guest - 02-04-2014 Baltimore City's engines will probably be in around the time of the firehouse expo. After seeing the specs and final drawings, these engines probably have a shot at being the worst pieces of apparatus ever spec'ed. They should rank right up there with the two rear mounts assigned to T15 & T21 that Seagrave took back. My company is slated to get one of the four coming in and I personally would rather keep my current first line or run what ever second line engine I happen to be in that day. Hungrybus 2012 - CAPTFBFD - 02-04-2014 What is wrong with the specs? Just curious. Hungrybus 2012 - chief60 - 02-04-2014 If I remember correctly, they are Dash CF, which mean PUC pumps, a higher hosebed, and no user friendly crosslays. I have seen a PUC that went to Kansas somewhere that was a great design, low hosebed but I bet Baltimore went with the stock body design to save money. Hungrybus 2012 - Roto-Ray - 02-05-2014 Quote:If I remember correctly, they are Dash CF, which mean PUC pumps, a higher hosebed, and no user friendly crosslays. I have seen a PUC that went to Kansas somewhere that was a great design, low hosebed but I bet Baltimore went with the stock body design to save money. The BCFD rigs are spec'd with very low hose beds ... only about 48" from the ground to the bottom of the hosebed IIRC. Hungrybus 2012 - Bryce - 02-05-2014 More importantly, Hungrybus, go to one of the Seattle TV stations' websites and watch the stream of the Super Bowl parade festivities. They're saying there's 700,000+ people downtown right now. Based on the video, I believe it. Hungrybus 2012 - cml0774 - 02-06-2014 The PUC does not look user friendly for a big/busy city like baltimore. Hungrybus 2012 - Guest - 02-11-2014 Baltimore's new engines have only a few positives in my opinion, the lower hose bed, additional pre-piped discharges off the rear and the barrier style doors on the cab. The cross lays have been removed completely which is going to be a huge change for our engine men since the last engine without cross lays was bought sometime around 1978. The engines are a quarter of an inch short of being 30 feet long and they are just over 10 feet wide which probably won't fair too well for driving conditions in Baltimore. The difference in size between the new engine and our current engine is over 2 feet in length and almost a foot in width. Hungrybus 2012 - hungrybus - 03-17-2014 Here's some shot from a couple recent outings. 1st looks like BCFD is replacing The SRO Wagon, since I found this one setting behind The Fire Apparatrus Coordinators Office Hungrybus 2012 - hungrybus - 03-17-2014 The City of Baltimore kust recieved a bunch of these Ford Esacpe SUV's some went to The Police, some to The Fire, and other agencies throughout The City. I think The FD got 6 of them. Here's Fire Maintnance 4 This is a FORD not a Chevy as listed on Photo, Hmm have to change that Hungrybus 2012 - hungrybus - 03-17-2014 Anne Arundel County recently placed some Freightliner Ambulances in service, here's the one assigned to The Glen Burnie Station |
