Keystone State Relics - kieferfire - 02-16-2007 Rescue 29 from Jefferson was a 1985 Mack MC with Grumman bodywork. It has a 1250 gpm-pump and a 750 gallon-tank. This is a Mack chassis. Some, including a former second-generation chief at Union FA-Bala-Cynwyd point out that it was merely a commercial Mack chassis. Boyd put the body together with the Gould pump. Today it would be like an apparatus builder building a fire truck on a commercial truck chassis. Does anyone have further information which can challenge this? Any Mack fire apparatus reg.numbers? Guess where this B Mack saw service, guess where it is now, and guess who the 3 owners are?! Winner gets to spend a day with some crazy Democrat. I won't spoil it by telling either, but there will be a bunch of guys sitting upstairs from it tomorrow night watching a slideshow! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Keystone State Relics - BA000049 - 02-17-2007 Scott, I'm not allowed to answer either - bummer ! Bruce Keystone State Relics - BA000049 - 02-17-2007 Scott, Additional info on rigs posted: Ogden 1955 American LaFrance, 700 series Invader, semi-cab, 750/500. The Neffsville rig was not from there - but a Lancaster County fire company originally owned it - brain dead in the early morning - Al need help ? Keystone State Relics - Guest - 02-17-2007 Re: Slide show mafia.... The three individuals who own the Mack B deserve to remain nameless based on the story behind the destruction of the Federal Beacon Ray while backing it into the "substation". Not to mention the fact that it didn't even make last years GAFFA muster just down the road! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/3_12_21.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Captain.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> |
