Fairfax County VA - Ladder 68 - 08-15-2010 FYI: I show old T24 being a '95 model year. Corrections welcome. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 To the best of my knowledge the county only has 1 Tower Ladder in the reserve fleet, which is ex-Tower Ladder 1. The attached photo was taken by me at FS40 in Spring of 2008 when this gorgeous E\-One rear-mount (then in reserve fleet) was running as Tower 40. This rig has since been sold and is no longer in the fleet. Ladder 68 - I believe you are correct about ex-Truck 24 being a 1995. Nate Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Ex-Tower Ladder 1. I believe this is the only reserve Tower in the fleet. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Engine 30 - Merrifield. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Former Rescue Squad 11 from the 90's. After this rig left 11 it spent many years in the reserve fleet before being sold to an out of state volunteer department. I took this photo in 2009 at the apparatus shop north. One of my favorite county Squads of all time. A true beast. An E\-One Hurricane if I'm not mistaken. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Ex-Engine 15 (Chantilly). This rig was recently replaced by a 2009 Pierce Velocity. It is currently in the reserve fleet. E\-One Cyclone. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Ex-Engine 27. This rig was also recently replaced by a 2009 Pierce Velocity. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Engine 29 - Tysons Corner Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Former Engine 9. Like Engines 15, 27, 32, 35 and 38 this rig was replaced with a 2009 Pierce Velocity. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Engine and Tower 30 in quarters. Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Reserve E\-One Cyclone running as Engine 21 Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Franconia Tower Ladder 5 at a 2-Alarm 8 Box fire on 236. Winter 2010 Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Rescue 26 at the same job Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Engine 26 - same Box Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 FS18 - spring of 2010. At the time both the Engine and Rescue Company were running reserve rigs Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 EMS 4 takes in a run from FS18 Fairfax County VA - Guest - 08-15-2010 Engine 16's Pierce CAFS rig in quarters Fairfax County VA - davemcclung - 08-15-2010
And Old T24's E\-One served as Truck 10 for a while before they received their Dash. I forgot we still had that one in the fleet.
I forgot it was at 410 for a while as well. Fairfax County VA - davemcclung - 08-15-2010
FYI: I show old T24 being a '95 model year. Corrections welcome.
Yes, see my previous post, it is a 1995 E\-One Protector chassis. Fairfax County VA - Ladder 68 - 08-15-2010 I thought E\-One only made aerials on the Cyclone and Hurricane chassis in that era. I didn't know the Protector chassis was rated for an aerial. Thanks for the update. |
