Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-06-2008

Here's a few from my company, Pennington Road Fire-EMS (Station 32). Here's the First Aid Unit's Ford/Braun and Chevy/Horton.

Here's our Engine 32, a 2003 E\-One Hush 2000/800.

Business end of the Hush... more to come later...

Lawrence Road Fire Co. (Sta 22) of Lawrence Twsp. sent their crew with Rescue 22, a KME rescue engine 1500/500.

The Signal 22 Canteen Unit serves Mercer Co. and the surrounding areas. They are a volunteer outfit and operate out of their quarters on So. Clinton Avenue in the City of Trenton. Their county radio designation is Station 722 so as not to be confused with Lawrence Road Sta. 22.

These next few pics were sort of funky, I had to battle with the rising sun to get them, my apologies. Here's Lawrenceville's (Sta. 23) American LaFrance telesqurt. This piece replaced a Pierce Arrow telesqurt. All of the company's apparatus match this cream-over-red livery as they have for many years.

Next up is Pennington Borough's Ladder Tower 51, a very angry sounding Simon Duplex Olympian/LTi. The picture doesn't show it well, but the rig is painted a sort of deep-mint, a characteristic of PFC's apparatus. Pennington is surrounded on all sides by Hopewell Township; the same goes for Hopewell Borough. All three municipalities make up what is called the Hopewell Valley.

The third fire station in the Hopewell Valley is the Union-Titusville Fire Co. & Rescue Squad (Sta. 53) on Route 29 in Hopewell Township, right on the fringe of Washington's Crossing State Park. The Delaware River is a stone's throw away from the firehouse which is located right near the sight of George Washington's crossing of the river on Christmas of 1776.

They run this sweet Pierce Enforcer rescue-engine.

Union-Titusville Rescue Squad's (Sq. 153) 2000 Ford/Braun flanked by Prospect Height's utility and East Windsor District One's Freightliner ambulance.

This one came out pretty cool

Here's Tower 17 from the Nottingham Fire Co. of Hamilton Twsp.

Here's a Ford/PL Custom Medallion from the Nottingham Vol. Ambulance Squad (Sq. 111), not affiliated with the Nottingham Fire Company, though I believe they were one outfit a while back until about 1980 or so.

Tour of New Jersey - njjimmy - 05-06-2008

Prospect Heights Fire Co. (Ewing Sta. 31) had their Tower 31 present, a 1986 Simon-Duplex/LTi, just as angry sounding as Pennington's tower =)

Thanks! Didn't see either of them today, although I think A.L. was helping out with the Ewing HS band during the morning session!

One of the guys from East Windsor RS had a good idea of getting all the ambos together for a group shot. Pictures were taken from the bucket of Tower 31, so here are a couple ground shots. Will post an aerial shot when it becomes available.
