Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 03-16-2010 I noticed that lately this thread been missing it's "holiday" posts, so I decided to do up something a little different. I wanted to incorporate as much irish as possible without going overboard and keeping the rig as "realistic" as possible. I hope you all enjoy, and have a happy Saint Patricks Day. ERIN GO BRAGH! The only thing that I did in my post of the Memphis ALF was change the color of the running boards and added the lettering to Engine 5161's original. Keep up the good work! MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 03-16-2010 Moving a little closer to home, here is a rig that was used somewhat extensively in the Newark NJ and Yonkers NY Fire Dept's. It is a Farrar/Continental COMPAC. I based the drawing off of a photo of a YFD engine but left it unlettered. I remeber quite a few of these in Newark but I think the bodies were a little different. Credits to Paramedic_IL, Ladder13, Engine5161, Fyreline, and myself. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - EMTChris67 - 03-17-2010 Wake I love it, awesome job, and like wise to you as well firemark, now i have something that goes with the Somerville Maxim S, engine you posted a while back, Somerville Ladder 3 Maxim S model TDA MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - EMTChris67 - 03-17-2010 and also to go with the Maxim engine is Somerville's Diamond REO hose wagon MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 03-17-2010 I saw the Minneapolis trucks above... Here is a Bloomington, MN TDA I did a long time ago. I do apologize to the other members though, I don't have documented on the original photo who to credit for the parts of this, my apologies. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - grubber33270 - 03-17-2010 Awesome i love seeing the minnesota stuff. someone should do a st paul Squad. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 03-18-2010 I gave an older St. Paul Squad a try. This was done strictly from a picture in a book, I've never actually seen the rig, but hopefully it's pretty close to the real one. This is a 1995 White-Volvo chassis with bodywork by Toyne. Credits to Ladder13, AS702, RIEMT, KDWMAEMT, SCFD1290, Rescue29Engine23, and myself. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 03-18-2010 EMTChris67, Nice work on both of the Somerville rigs. I really like the REO you did up. My dept owns one that I've been working on but haven't quite gotten it nailed down yet. Hopefully I can post it soon. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 03-19-2010 Odessa, TX Engine 1. The entire Odessa fleet was replaced back in 2007 with 8 Pierce Enforer Pumpers and 2 Pierce Dash 105' Quints (Just a shirt bit of info for you all). MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 03-20-2010 Figured I would do this one up real quick tonight seeing that I had done the last "generation" of Dallas Engines. Here is one of the new Crimson pumps recently delivered. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 03-20-2010 One more from Texas, Fort Worth's new Smeat Quint. Mostly a cut and paste job, but I added the LED's and re-drew the patch on the door. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 03-22-2010 Looking back and realizing that my last three posts were of rigs from the great state of Texas, I figured I would finish this one up and share it. From the old cattle town of Abilene, TX Engine 1. Pretty simple paint and graphics, but I had never seen a department have the year of the rig on the door so prominently. Credits in the post, I drew up the Sutphen top mount pump module using some existing parts, modified the body. I also drew up the Tomar LED's, front warning/marker lights and the side marker lights. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - ffemtwakeman - 03-22-2010 Something that I threw together today that I thought was a little different. You don't see too many two door custom cabs around, so I shortened one up and added the Ferrara pump panel and an eliptical tanker body. |
