More ambo's.

Sponsored by the Mercer Co. Sunshine Foundation, the event gives physically and mentally handicapped children the opportunity to go to Disney World for a day. My understanding is that the organization was founded to help dreams come true for terminally and profoundly ill children. These were the units that operated in the morning for the departure. At night for the arrival, units were represented from the following additional companies (couldn't get any decent shots of apparatus): Enterprise (14-2), Decou Hose (15), Colonial (18), Slackwood (21), West Windsor Co. 1 (43), Robbinsville (40), City of Trenton (74, also there during the day), and of course Trenton-Mercer ARFF (34).

Commish,

That tanker is actually from the Bushkill, Pa Fire Department... it is Pike County, Pa Tanker 24-2-6 (although last I was there I am pretty sure the 2 was missing and it was down to just Tanker 24-6). They are right on the border of New Jersey but is a Pa company.

Rescue # 6829
[/color] is a 2008 Spartan/Hackney Rescue. This beast is capable of running 8 rescue tools at once! Talk about some serious extrication!! This unit replaced their aging International Rescue.

For those interested, the quote on the top of the cab between the crew and officer says "Protecting Those Who Defend America"

Now that quote is pretty awesome!

An old Snorkel in Scotch Plains hidden behind alot of plants at a garden center on Terrill Rd. Saw it on Friday, but didnt get to see much in the drive by. Looked like it might have been an old Hendrickson/Pierce?

I saw that one too, about a week ago. Curious as to where it came from.
