Los Angeles County Truck 110, there is one that i can remember The Steel Inferno one of the Emergency movies at the end of the Tv Series. You see it around at the end of the movie. It is when a big building catches on fire by a painter in the building. There is alot of Fire Equipment, Police Department, and Ambulances in the movie.

Group,

Looking for the original owner of ALF Registry number L3242. It is a late 40's 700 Series Ladder Truck.

Thanks,

Frenchy

American LaFrance Apparatus - Bob-Ont - 06-29-2008

Frenchy,

The original owner of Registered Number L3242 was Eau Claire, WI. It was a 1947 open cab model with an eighty-five foot ladder.

1930 ALF Type 245 1000 gpm pumper.

From the Great Neck muster this past weekend

Alert FC of Great Neck with their classic 1947 700 series pumper

American LaFrance Apparatus - Guest - 07-01-2008

Vigilant FC of Great neck brought a 1932 ALF Metropolitan series and a 1952 LS85 Mack.

They play around with the radiator badge for the v 12 motor under the hood

and the motor (with the Mack door in the background)

Other pieces out there were a couple of Macks, Foxes, WLFs, a Brockway Torpedo, , an 1896 Silsby steamer, a little 1914 Ford chemical car. I'll post them under a Great Neck Muster topic.

The Friendship Fire Co. #5 of Carlisle PA (Cumberland County Co. 42) ran this 1966 American LaFrance Pioneer 750 GPM Pump 750 Water from 1966-1979. This unit was sold to the Upper Frankford Fire Co. in Bloserville, PA (Cumberland County Co 48). After running in Bloserville, the unit was sold by Bob Jones of Shippensburg PA to a fire department in the Caribbean.

This 1966 American LaFrance 1250/300 was purchased by the Friendship Fire Co. #5 of Carlisle PA in 1984 from the Navy-Vale Fire Dept. (Fairfax County VA Co. 21) The engine was sold to the Franklin Borough Fire Dept. in Johnstown PA in 1990. Franklin Borough sold this rig in the late 1990's/early 2000's. Does anyone have any idea where it is now located?

We are so excited!!! Collingswood's Engine 1611 just got sold to us!!! It's a 1983 ALF Century series 1000 gpm pumper. Our 1966 Ford C750 Rescue Squad is pictured next to her. Both are now privately owned by Robert "Moose" Schemelia, our Brigade Chief.
