DC Spec from what I have heard/read. This unit is a completely different paint from there norm which is a slime greenish yellow white with a red stripe.

The engine replaced a 1988 Sutphen 1500-750 Sold 12-10-10 and a 2003 Pierce Enforcer Rescue sold to Biglersville Pa Adams County and repainted in red over white.

Wheeled Coach had two unit's at the show.

I think this one is appropriate for today as it's run by the local VFW from the information I could find for the department.

A second visit to the show for this one.

2012 Harrisburg Fire Expo - Juice - 05-29-2012

I'm curious, as I noticed this at FDIC as well; are the FDNY Ambulances ACTUALLY 2012's? That's not the 2012 body style, and I'm curious as to if these are special ordered, they were bought in mass order and now all of these chassis are on the lot of the factory, or what's up?

Trav!

Trav,

I think your correct and I just mislabeled the photo. If I recall correctly these are all supposed to be 2011 chassis. Not sure how many have been delivered yet or not, these things seem to have a cloack of secrecy over them.

This was my first time in one of them, I was not impressed but I assume FDNY knew what they were getting so perhaps their expectations are different from mine.
