Denver Metro Fire Apparatus - Guest - 01-18-2009 Denver's 2008 Pierce Velocity Heavy Rescue Denver Metro Fire Apparatus - Guest - 01-18-2009 Denver Metro Fire Apparatus - Guest - 01-18-2009 R1 still at St. 11 or have they moved? Denver Metro Fire Apparatus - Ladder 68 - 01-18-2009 And what happened the relatively new Pierce Dash that Rescue 1 previously had? Didn't seem that old. Dedicated reserve now? 2nd piece? Thanks in advance. Denver Metro Fire Apparatus - Guest - 01-19-2009 The Rescue does still run out of 11's, the photo here was taken in front of 16's. The old rescue is a 2000 Pierce Lance (I think) and is now the primary reserve rescue co, which was badly needed. It wasn't that unusual for the crew to have to run on a 30 year old mack. The HAMER also got a similar Velocity and their relatively new Enforcer is now a reserve. I've been told most of the $$$ for these rigs was from the Democratic National Convention.
