I thought Gray was in a bad spot until I tried to take pictures of the Crown. This was the best I could manage. There were porta-potties to the right, and the sun was in a bad spot on the opposite side. Ah, well.

1975 Crown Firecoach 50' TeleSqurt - Guest - 10-06-2007

Today was the 7th Annual Pike Township Fire Department (Indianapolis, Indiana) Safety Festival & Car Show. I took the Crown up and was in good company with eleven other antiques on display. There were awards for the top four Antique Fire Trucks, and the Crown took "Best in Show." Two of our other club members placed 4th and 2nd.



The weather was great for this event today, just hot!

Thanks, Frank. I think this was the last event for the Crown until next season, unless something comes up. It's time to start working on the many repair projects I've been throwing on the back burner.
