Alex, great shots as always. If I may post an oldie on here, I recently found this pic taken by an old Air Force buddy of mine in the 80's. Okaloosa Island, FL once owned this 1962 American LaFrance 85' MM which ran as Truck 9.

[/quote]

This 1962 ALF came from Union Hook & Ladder Co. in Mount Kisco NY in Westchester County. It was replaced by a 1980 Sutphen tower ladder which can be seen on one of the NY threads. Pictures of this rig with it's original company can be seen on the Hooks website. Thank you for posting this.

I am going to start uploading pictures that I took in 2002. Unfortunately I don't have any info on the rigs. Hope you all enjoy.

Here is Palm Beach Trk 1

Just think Alex. If you lived up here, your photo season would be done. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Banghead' />

Either way, great photos.

Alex,

Whats the Status of The 04 Pierce Dash Tower that was at 59? I thought you or someone else told me it had moved to 92?

Also are they going to keep or get rid of the Reserve Ladder @ 39 the Duplex/E-One?

FLORIDA RIGS - Ladder 68 - 12-11-2010

Great photos...any chance you have the other side and/or rear of Sunrise L92?

Thanks in advance.

Tim,

Correct, right now the Dash platform is being stored at 92. I believe that it will go back in service as P72 in October when the new station opens. As for the reserve Duplex ladder, I'm unsure.

Larry,

I don't, however I'm sure Tom (capttomo) does.

Station 92 is now home to the Sunrise Fire Rescue "Air Force". 1998 65ft telesqurt, 2004 100 foot platform, and 2010 78 foot. We plan to put the platform at the new 72 (2 blocks to the east of current 72) when it opens up in about 3-4 months. The 80 foot 1984 E\-One ladder has been decommissioned, stripped, and is being prepared for auction. It served us well over the years..we certainly got our money's worth out of that truck. The telesqurt is now reserve (passed 10 years of front line service). The new 78 footer replaces the 1984 E\-One and can fit a variety of roles within the organization. Nice photo Alex !!!

Patiently waiting for the clouds to push away this morning and a tip that Davie put one of their newly delivered pumpers in service, I had to get out! lol.
