How is the 200 series apparatus and personnel typically deployed on an incident?

It can be deployed with the Light Force or Task Force for manpower, pumping the hydrant or even fire attack (since its equipped as a pumper). Recently I've seen some Light Force only stations respond to incidents in the 200 series engines.

Anyone with knowledge, what is being run as ARFF rigs out of Crash 80 at LAX? Did they ever deliver the Colet rigs or not?

LAFD never did order any Colets they're still using the E\-One Crash trucks at LAX.

LAFD did not order any but LA World Airports (who are in charge of the airports) did order 2, one for LAX and one for Ontario. The one for Ontario has been delivered and from what I've read has been problematic. Last I heard, LAWA wants their money back.

Last summer when I was on LA, I visited Sta 80 and the Ontario Colet was sitting on the repair lift on the north end of the station. The crew said something similar that the rigs were just trouble and taken OOS, but they never had one at LAX. It sounded like Ontario's came there because they had the space to store it while they figured out what to do with it. The Oshkosh was still the reserve rig, he said it is slower to accelerate, but will out pump and perform the newer E\-One's once on the scene. He said he loved it.

If anyone hears anything on potential replacements for Sta 80 in terms of ARFF units please let me know.
