Truck 58 from the Rose Fire Co. No. 1 in New Freedom was a International CO-8190 with bodywork from American LaFrance and 100' midmount ladder.

The second photo shows this ladder after a roof-addition and with a new color-scheme.

Wellsville/PA had this interesting 1970 Gerstenslager rescue, that was built on an International chassis. Originally it was in service in Centereach/Long Island. I like these bookmobile style custom-rescues very much.

1953 GMC/Bruco, full cab, 750/300, 4-door nine-man sedan cab, pump mounted between front and rear cab doors, rear fender compartments, six cylinder motor, 5-speed manual transmission, this type of cab was not a standard offering of the manufacture at the time-it had to have been built aftermarket by a specialty body builder,. It cost $20,000. It was sold in 5/78.

1963 Mack C-95-F1292, canopy cab, 750/1000. This was the first canopy cab purchased by the company. The pump might have been upgraded to 1000 GPM by Longwood. It was sold to a dealer in the south in 1978. Housed 9/29/63.

1978 Ford C-8000/Pierce, canopy tilt-COE, 1000/750, Cat 3208 Diesel, 240 HP, automatic, 6 Kw generator. It was loaned to the West Bradford Fire Company (Chester County) in 9/96 when their pumper was out being repaired. It was finally sold in 5/97 to a fire company in OK.

1985 Hendrickson 1871W/Grumman, canopy cab, 1250/1000. This is a very plain jane looking pumper, 6 KW generator. It cost $163,000. It was sent out to be refurbed in 1/95 to SWAB to have additional compartments added, safety gates in the jumpseat area, total paint job, and new seats for $30,000. Sold in late 2000 to the Winterthur Museum Fire Department (New Castle County, DE).

1988 Kenworth/4-Guys, full cab, 1000/3500, elliptical style stainless steel tanker, diesel, manual transmission. Purchased at a price of $175,000.
