Virginia apparatus - miscellaneous - drfeelgood - 05-12-2008 Maybe they are starting a mid county truck company out of 18! That chief there is a crazy man I here, last fall he was looking to get a couple of 5 ton 6X6 old military cargo trucks incase of flooding or heavy snow so they could evac citzens or transport docs, nurses, cops, firefighters, ect anytime, anywhere, in any weather but he was told he was crazy and it never floods in Prince William County. None of us had ever heard of this tanker manufacturer before. Anyone else have shots of rigs built by this compnay ? Need some help here. This is Ex-Evergreen VFD in Prince Willaim County, Va. When I first looked at this rig I was sure it had a 750 gallon tank but the operator said it was 500 gallons. After checking the records of Firemag, Mike Sanders, and another web site, we are split 2 & 2 on 750 & 500 gallons. Anyone who has a good list of E\-One serial numbers please help us out here. Virginia apparatus - miscellaneous - foghog333 - 05-13-2008 John: Lessllie Tank Company was originally started by the Williams Brothers in Rock Hill, SC. In later years they changed the name to Workhorse Fire Apparatus where they built mostly tankers and brush units for departments in North and South Carolina. Several years ago they sold their interests in the company and now manage the Seagrave facility in Rock Hill. Tom Shand Hamburg, New York |
