Here is a Ex-Lacona Chevy/? Mini Pumper unit 1331. This is a perfect example of getting any shot you can, the truck was sold shortly after I took this shot.

This Chevy/Local ran as 1472 untill last summer. A blown engine was too much cost and was replaced with a Ford unit I posted a week or so ago in the current NYS thread. This makes two little Ford Rescues they run.

Here are a series of eight trucks that are no longer in service with my department Central Square.
First up a 69 Duplex Sanford in its all red paint scheme. It was a 1250 GPM/1000 gal tank now seving with the Midway Tn. Fire dept. In Service from 69-04.

Next up is a truck I have spent a few years trying to locate. It is our 57 Mack Model B 750 GPM engine.
In Service from 57-78. The truck was sold to the Hinkle Fire department in Walker Co. Ga. They sold the truck in auction somewhere between 96-98.
A friend of mine has been following up on a couple of leads to where the truck has gone. One rumor has it sitting in a "junkyard of sorts" in Flintstone Ga. , another yet being sold to Sequachie TN.

Next up is a 42 Ford/Jeep. Bought for $450.00 in 1948 and with a Darley pump that was purchased for $480.00, the department built this Jeep for water supply duty at first, later adapted for grass/brush fires. It stayed in service until 1976. The west Monroe Fire Dept. used it for a summer or two. The Jeep ended up being restore to a WWII era jeep by a gentleman from the Buffalo area.

Here is another picture of our 46 Dodge/Sanford 500GPM engine. In service from 1948-76. It was bought new. After we sold it it had Sycamore Farms lettering on it. John(cnyfiretrucks), shot it outside of Wampsville in 02, since then its been removed from the farm.

Next up is a 62 Chevy C80/American. In service has a tanker from 1962-1978, it was later rehabed by Saulsbury in the mid 70's. Sold to a department near either St Louis or Kansas City. I haven't a clue if it still around.

Next up is a 63 Ford Econoline van that served has our rescue truck from 1963-72, then from 72-76 has a do all! Sold in 1976 to a member of the department, who then sold it to another member. The truck has been lost since 1978 or so.
An interesting note, the main reason this truck was bough over any other , it was the only truck made at the time that would fit inside the cramped confinds of our old station with the other equipment.

Next up is a 73 Chevy T70/Sanford 1000 GPM/1000 gal tank. In service at our station 2 from 1973-78, then from 78-01 at station one. Station 2 was in West Monroe, in 78 West Monroe started their own department. It was donated to the Saulsbury Fire Dept. here in NY. I have no idea if it is still in service there or not.

Last up is a 1976 Chevy K20, it is outfitted with a skid load tank/pump, sold by Saulsbury. This truck was in service from 76-84 has a brush truck. In 1984, the department converted it to a rescue by adding a reading utility box. In its rescue cofiguration it was in sevice untill 1989 when the chassis was repalced with a 89 Chevy 3500. It was sold to the Town of Hasting Highway department and has been scraped.

Salisbury does not have this truck now, Tim. My guess is it was replaced in the early 2000's by a IH/KME.

Net Up is a bad picture of Orwells old Ford/Blitz Buggy. I checked on it a week ago still siting in the same place under about 3' of snow.
