It is with great sadness that I show you these photos. These were once proud Bulldogs. Screaming up & down the streets of Philly. They now sit in the parking lot of the Persia, TN fire department, used solely as parts trucks.

This one really isn't a relic, as it's at a farm tractor lot for sale. Can anybody tell me more about this truck? Bill F's database lists it going to Falmouth, MA. Their website has no record of ever owning a 1979 Maxim. Plus, this truck had lime green paint underneath a fresh new coat of red paint. Howie, please come save the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was ONE Mack Squrt... It served as Sq 72. I do not have the PFD Shop number. Jack Wright has a shot of it I think he posted in the Philly Tread.

The one big difference that I see is that this rig has a Federal "Model 28" Siren mounted on the front. The rest of these rigs had Federal Q's mounted on them.

it was always an engine. the squrt was a 1977 with a different motor type than the engines. shop 775264

Thanks Mike. I knew this was not a Scope but thought MAYBE it was the Squrt. Thanks for the shop # too.

Thanks for the help guys!! The info I got about it possibly being an ex-Scope came from Bill F's Mack CF database. I knew it didn't look like an ex-Scope for sure! But anyhow, Persia, TN owns TWO Mack CF engines. Unfortunately, they were both at the Chief's house when I visited Saturday evening. But I've got plans to go back to the area on my next free weekend, and they said the chief would be more than happy to let me look at them, if I could catch him at home. I'll post all the cool trucks I've shot in a thread here in a little bit!

Chincoteague, Virginia's 1975 International/Ward LaFrance 1000gpm with serial number 73-104. Sitting for sale in a side yard of a home near the road that takes you to the Wallops NASA facility.
I recall the For Sale sign saying it is for sale for $2,500 (approximately - I cannot remember the exact amount) or a trade for a motorcycle.
