F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 03-17-2008 A bad day to try to cross Midtown. We were walking faster then Ladder 4 was driving. F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 03-17-2008 Behind Ladder 4 was what I'm guessing is a spare battalion vehicle. Perhaps they put on extra units due to the congestion. Lots of "Q's" echoing around town. F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 03-18-2008 Ladder 12's CPC truck F.D.N.Y. - Marc - 03-18-2008
Behind Ladder 4 was what I'm guessing is a spare battalion vehicle. He's one of the regular Aides in the 9th Batt. F.D.N.Y. - mfd110 - 03-18-2008 Ladder 12's CPC truck, What is this truck used for? F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 03-21-2008
A bad day to try to cross Midtown. We were walking faster then Ladder 4 was driving.
Further uptown (at the reviewing stand on Fifth Ave) the traffic was much lighter. Here's an FDNY EMS gator. F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 03-31-2008 Took this up in the Bronx. I think it was getting work done to it. F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 04-05-2008 Here are some pic's from a drill at New York Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia Medical School at West 168th Street and Fort Washington Ave in Manhattan. The unit's are from the 13th Batt. First up is Engine Co. 67 2003 Seagrave F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 04-05-2008 Next is Engine Co. 84 (using a spare rig) 1993 Seagrave (Spare) F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 04-05-2008 Next is Ladder Co. 34 yes in a spare as well 1994 Seagrave Tiller F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 04-05-2008 This is Tower Ladder 45 (also using a Spare) 1995 Seagrave Tower (Spare) F.D.N.Y. - R1SmokeEater - 04-05-2008 Spare, Spare, Spare - Yikes !! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> F.D.N.Y. - anesti - 04-10-2008 sorry no pic but i saw ladder 38 getting a new rig i saw it on the triboro with a unmarked spare ladder tailing it they were probably going to the rock. is this one of the 2006 seagraves or a newer model F.D.N.Y. - e290l103 - 04-10-2008 L38 is not getting a new rig. there are no new rearmounts in or on order. the specs are not even done for the ones to replace the 10 1999 Seagraves that are in service. F.D.N.Y. - rlukas1 - 04-10-2008 Ladder 38 presently is assigned a 2001, 100-foot Seagrave rear mount. There are still ten 1999 units awaiting new rigs, Ladders 19, 24, 32, 42, 81, 123, 137, 154, 156, and 169. It must have been, don't tell me......................another SPARE. THERE ARE NO NEW REARMOUNTS CURRENTLY ON ORDER/BEING DELIVERED/HAVING RECENTLY BEEN DELIVERED to FDNY. NONE. dont know what you saw, but it wasnt a brand new rig. ALL 2006 MODEL RM's ARE IN SERVICE AND HAVE BEEN FOR OVER A YEAR AND A HALF.
