Los Angeles Fire Dept - hp1530 - 07-09-2014 Quote:Not sure if this was posted already, and forgive me if it has been...but....Any idea who submitted bids? Pierce and KME Los Angeles Fire Dept - Guest - 07-09-2014 here is the info on the bids. Pierce was 3.9 mill for 4 trucks with a 300-330 day delivery KME was 4.08 mill for 4 trucks with a 320-360 day delivery time. I was told there were 2 other bids that were thrown out, one because it did not meet la city's specs and the other was tossed because of excessive price. the city has opened a 4 day window to rebid the process on 7-18-14 and closes end of business day 7-21-14 Los Angeles Fire Dept - Monrovia1 - 07-12-2014 Old Truck 95. Los Angeles Fire Dept - Guest - 07-27-2014 Engine 63 Protects portions of Venice. According to the shop #, this is a '63 model, but that sounds too early. I'm leaning towards '68 or so. Corrections welcome. Los Angeles Fire Dept - Guest - 07-27-2014 Rescue 82 Stationed in Hollywood. Very much outside their district, they are seen here just southeast of Downtown on scene of a fire.
