US Forestry, in Dixie County, FL, has this 2008 International tractor hauling a trailer and Caterpillar D6N dozer.

The next morning, on my way to shoot airplanes at FLL, I shot these rigs.  First up, in my old hometown, is Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Engine 24's 2013 Sutphen 1500/750/30F pumper, job #HS5282.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Station 32 has some really neat rigs.  First up is this Air Truck, a 20?? Kenworth/Pierce unit, Job #17442 running as Support 32.

TRT 32 is this 2001 Sterling tractor hauling a 2002 Great Dane trailer.

The highlight of this stop is this "butt ugly" rig, a 2004 Pierce Dash 1500/150/100' platform running as Tower 32.  It is adorned with a "911 Tribute" wrap and bears job #15622-01.

Next up, as we ventured to The Keys, was this 200? Chevrolet van, a turtle ambulance.  Now I've seen everything!  It belongs to The Turtle Hospital!  Only in The Keys!

By no means did we shoot every rig in The Keys but we did hit both airports.  First up is Marathon Airport.  "Shrek" as it is called, is a 1976 Oshkosh T6 with a 1950ish pump, 2500 gallon water tank and 50 gallon foam tank.  Yep, that's what they said.

Last up for the Marathon Airport Fire Department is a "9-11 Tribute" truck, a 2010 Spartan/Rosenbauer/Central States 2000/500/109' Ladder.  It has Job #726411.

Operated as a team effort between Monroe County Sheriff's Office and Fire Rescue is this Trauma Star 1981 Sikorsky S-76A Helicopter.  It is kept in a sheriff's hanger at Marathon Airport.

I was pleased to come across this Florida Forestry engine, a 1993 International/Ferrara 500/750 unit in The Keys.

Easing on down the road to the Key West Int'l Airport, we found three rigs.  First up was this unknown year Oshkosh T1500, 1950/1500/450F/500H rig known as ARFF 107.  The airport fire station is operated by City of Key West firefighters.
